In the recent years the KUHNE group has gathered a lot of experience in mono-axial and biaxial-stretching units in various inline and offline blown film applications. We are now adding 2 standardized MDO units to the machinery programme of KUHNE GmbH.

Film producers and converters have now the possibility to extend their range of production with the KUHNE MDO. Continuous market analysis and innovation are showing us a lasting demand in the packaging industry for the new technology in order to continuously improve the properties of their products.
In our new R&D department we will have shortly 2 new systems available for demonstrations and test runs which can be adapted to the individual requirements: first a HDPE stretching unit for improved flatness and secondly a LDPE 4/6 roller stretching unit with infra red pre-heating in order to improve phenomenon line flatness, curve passability and mechanical properties.
Besides our new FFS line, which will be installed shortly and introduced in the next KUHNE news our existing high capacity line with the Maximizer are always available for trials.

The innovative technology of the MDO (machine direction orientation) allows the specific mono-axial stretching of single and multi layer films. Because of the simple design and the efficient concept of the MDO unit unexpectedly good properties of the film can be obtained.
